SES Productions believe stories have the power to evoke awareness and inspire change.  This ethos drives every project we encounter.   We ask ourselves what we can do to communicate the heart of the story in the most engaging way possible, while also finding the universal lesson that helps solve a problem, inspire change, and create community.

Meet Shawn Shepard

Shawn Shepard, founder, president, and CEO of SES Productions, is an award-winning multimedia producer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He loves telling meaningful stories that pack a punch.

Shawn served as executive producer of Atlanta & Company, a daily lifestyle and sales-integration show that aired on Atlanta’s NBC affiliate. There, he spearheaded live television specials and a variety of brand communications. He also co-developed, launched, and produced Atlanta Business Chronicle BIZ, a weekly TV show spotlighting metro Atlanta’s business scene.

Shawn was instrumental in launching an environmental internet broadcasting startup called Clean Skies News, where he produced hard-hitting news stories and live coverage of trade shows and conferences. The startup was later rebranded as Energy Now, a magazine show that aired on Bloomberg TV.

Over the years, Shawn has produced an array of content for clients such as UPS, Coca-Cola, Teletrac, and the University of Washington in Seattle.

Shawn brings an actor’s perspective to his work as a producer, drawing on a background that includes a series-regular role on the hit TV show One Tree Hill and credits in Army Wives on Lifetime TV, Resurrection from ABC Studios, and In the Jungle of Cities at 7 Stages. He also worked twice with legendary Obie Award-winning director Joseph Chaikin.

Today, Shawn continues to use his talents to tell important stories and help others find distinctive ways to share their ideas. He is a 2026 Bronze Telly winner for the short-form documentary Unconquered: Battling Back After West Nile Virus. When he is not working, you will find him hiking a nature trail or trying the latest vegan hot spot. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and has two adult children, Ryan and Stefani.
